dont measure anything exactly - we dont want you stressed and nitpicky this early in the day!!
4 of the following, all cut into chunks:
handful of blueberries
1/2 banana (or one whole if you're dealing with the mini variety)
same amount of any other fruit that is seasonal and local. yippee!!
small handful of almonds and/or walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup amazing local granola (i love trying the different kinds at the farmers market)
1/4 cup local, organic yogurt (coconut yogurt to make it vegan!)
1/4 cup almond milk
your choice of superfoods (i like putting a little bit of everything in there):
cinnamon/powdered ginger (optional)
pomegranate seeds (optional)
- in a serving bowl, layer fruit, nuts, granola, superfoods, yogurt, milk. top with cinnamon and optional garnish with pomegranate seeds.

- take 3 deep breaths
